Refund policy
1. Faulty, Damaged or Non-Compliant Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, we offer remedies under Australian Consumer Law (e.g., full refund, repair, or replacement at our discretion). Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos.
- We cover return postage for confirmed issues.
- You pay initial postage unless proven faulty.
2. Change of Mind Returns & Exchanges
Mail-only returns/exchanges accepted within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags/labels.
- You pay all return postage (use tracked/insured Australia Post).
- 20% restocking fee (minimum $15) deducted from refund/exchange value.
- No returns on custom orders, clearance sale items, gift cards or perishables (e.g., scented candles with opened seals).
3. How to Return
- Email julia@yarralight.au with order details, reason, and photos.
- We'll approve and provide a return address (Melbourne, VIC).
- Pack securely and mail via tracked service at your cost.
- Refunds issued within 7 business days of inspection to original payment method (excl. original shipping).
4. Important Notes
- Australian Consumer Law rights for faulty goods override this policy.
- We do not offer in-store returns - Melbourne pickup by appointment only for approved cases.
- International returns: Customer pays all fees; contact first.
